Lose weight -How to lose weight

Change Your Lifestyle For Permanent Weight Loss

Losing weight is something everyone dreads. It's not hard to find people talking about the latest fad diet promising success, or asking what is the best weight loss supplement, to help shed those extra pounds in a jiffy.

Here's the problem with diets. I equate them to a jail sentence. If you get sentenced to jail for a year, I would imagine all you think about is that year passing by so you can get out. You would get up in the morning saying, I only have 48 days left until I can go back to a normal life again, right!

Well that's the way people look at diets. They have a certain amount of weight they want to lose, and when the get close to their goal, if they are lucky enough, they say, wow, only seven more pounds until I can eat normal again!

That's the problem with a diet. If your not going to stay with your new eating plan for the rest of your life, then chances are you will put your weight back on. Believe me, I have been there many times.

The only way to lose weight, and keep it off forever, is to change your lifestyle and eating habits, and find the best weight loss supplement you can to help you with your new program.

Changing your lifestyle and eating habits is not as hard as you think if you truly want to do it. Don't decide to start next Monday, start today, but start slowly, so you almost don't notice the change. Start giving up or cutting down on one or two thing a week that you know are not good for you.

Start changing your meals slowly over the next few weeks. If you are a big pasta and bread eater, start replacing a couple of those meals a week with better choices, like chicken and vegetables, or soup and salad or a chef salad. Pasta and bread turn into sugar after you eat them, and contribute to quick weight gain, so they are best avoided as much as possible.

Try to stay away from pre packed foods. They are usually not a good choice. Learn to read the labels on the food you buy. You may be surprised what's in them. Look for high sugar and salt content.

These are two major enemies. See how many servings the manufacturer claims is in the container. Be sure to multiply the ingredients "grams" by the number of servings listed to get the true number.

Start slowly changing your snacks from unhealthy snacks to healthy snacks. Eating snacks after dinner like potato chips, cookies, and candy, is like shooting yourself in the foot when trying to lose weight. Start changing your snacks to healthy ones. Keep fresh vegetables in the refrigerator for a quick snack.

Apples, oranges, and celery sticks make quick snack when you need something to tide you over. Try putting a little peanut butter in a celery stick, or dipping it in plain yogurt. Peanut butter on apple wedges is also a good healthy snack.

Remember to start slowly, and don't put too much pressure on yourself. You are making a lifestyle change here, that could free you from the yo yo diet syndrome forever.

I struggled with losing weight my entire life, and finally got on this exact plan about five years ago. I got on the plan slowly, had the best weight loss supplement, to help me boost my metabolism, and help keep fat off, and I went for it.

I went from 305 pounds to 188 pounds in a little less than two years, and have maintained it ever since. I feel great, and I like the way I look. It is the best thing I ever did.

And the best part is, when I sit down to dinner, I fill up mostly on vegetables, and only have a very little portion of the actual meal, because I don't crave that kind of food anymore.

Give it a try, and you may find it's the ticket to the new you. Start slowly, and get the best weight loss supplement you can, which I believe is necessary to boost your metabolism, and help keep the fat off. Just keep going, and never look back!
